13 AL QB Jeremy Johnson

This kid, much like Trubisky and Woulard who we have not offered, are QBs that I believe have a chance to be special at the next level. Tall kids with above average arms and the footspeed to do damage. I hope our QB is one of these three with Ferguson and Buchanan following.

What do you mean if we miss on some other names? The guy is shown as liking only LSU and Auburn. Does he even have a UT offer?

He may get one is what he is saying. I think they are going after Trubisky and then asking others to come to camp to earn an offer.

Unfortuately for AU that appears to be the case. He will be special. Below are his stats this year.

Johnson did not play in a 57-6 win over Anniston to rest his sore shoulder. He bruised his AC Joint two weeks ago. He will start this week. On the season, he has completed 117-of-161 passes (72.7 percent) for 2,191 yards with 28 touchdowns and four interceptions. He has 56 carries for 522 yards and seven touchdowns.

Jeremy Johnson lists 2 SEC schools as his favorites should he decommit from Auburn (video) | al.com

I would say Ole Miss bound.

Not a LSU take under the present circumstances with Jennings and Rettig with verbal commits, he does have an offer but I don't think LSU would make it commitable unless one of the others drop.

He would fit Ole Miss system pretty well. He is still fairly raw and a system that makes the read for u would be good for him.

Chizik and Taylor have recruited Johnson to Auburn since his sophomore year in high school. They were the first school to offer him a scholarship in July of 2011. Those relationships have lasted and are more important to Johnson than ever.

"Coach Chizik is like my father," said Johnson. "People don't realize he's been recruiting me for four years and how much it would mean to me if he wasn't at Auburn. The relationship we have, and coach Trooper, they have been recruiting me before I even become a big-time player and before I blew up. They've been here before the rankings."

I would not have a problem with the chiz returning ...
to ISU, the Longhorns, UCF or ANY OTHER PLACE ON THE PLANET. Just as long as he packs his stuff and gets the eff out of Auburn.

What is your honest assessment of Jeremy Johnson? I really think he is underrated by every recruiting site. You don't get that combo of size, speed, athleticism, and arm very often.

MFarrell, Rivals -
Selected him for US Army Bowl recently and he's moving up our rankings (release next week), I am very high on him.
