Whats not looking good about it? Havent seen anything but positive things outside of a few posters that know nothing. If he does indeed make it, which I believe he will then we definitely have a great shot.

I've just seen multiple places say that this kid is all about academics and finding a place he feels at home at. That just worries me a little especially with Vandy in the mix. CBJ is really going to have to sale himself and UT to this kid to get him to sign here.

It would for sure,but what really sucks is we are in a battle with Vandy. Never would have thought that would someday be the case.

Well....it all began when Coach Fulmer got somewhat complacent many years ago. The recruiting started falling off and other SEC schools decided to leave the good ole' boy days of hiring coaches behind and started hiring better and brighter coaches. Then, when we do fire Fulmer our boneheaded AD bypasses several proven college coaches to hire an unproven, morally corrupt x-NFL coach that had a sexy last name. Then, he bolts after one year. Which was good because now we would be on worse probation than we are now. Afterwards our dumbarse AD hires a unproven LA. Tech coach who also happens to have a sexy last name. Then.....uh....oh....you probably were just asking a rhetorical question sorry :whistling:

It should not shock anyone we are fighting Vandy for recruits. They did just beat us like a drum by 3 TDs to keep us out of a bowl game. Those days of saying, "Vandy will be Vandy" are over at least for now.

I know Vandy isn't the "Same ole' Vandy" but I won't give them much respect until they have a schedule worth anything.

They beat us, that's enough as far as I'm concerned. I'm not going to bash a team or talk down on them when they took my team to the shed. They beat us on the field and are currently beating us in recruiting. Hope we can get back to being Tennessee.

Listening to some people on here, they'd have you believe the football program was being canceled. It's really kinda sad.

In the short-term, we must climb over Vandy to get back to the top. Just hold your nose, it won't take long.
