Well honestly you don't have to be a damn talent scout to know that it's unlikely for a sub 200 pound senior in HS to expect to come in and contribute day one in a 3-4 at OLB.
"I'm not an uber scout or anything but I've been covering recruiting for 12 years and I'm telling you guys, Zach Cuningham is going to be a very good college player. He reminds me a lot of former Auburn LB Karlos Dansby coming out of high school. Dansby was an All-American at Auburn and is still playing in the NFL.
I bet this kid has a lot more "big" offers before we get too far into January. And I bet Auburn, Alabama and any other SEC/ACC school that doesn't offer Cunningham will eventually regret it."

If this guy was the 1st project LB we reached out too, I think it would be a more widely accepted offer.
but this offer on the heals of Campbell (lightweight JUCO LB) , Zanca ( converted LB), & Barnes (Converted LB) makes it easy to question what direction are we really headed
This is another step to a bad defense. We could've paid a different coach if Sunseri was going to go after mediocre or sleeper prospects all over. Sunseri is one of the biggest letdowns of a hire I've ever seen.
I like Zanca and Vereen. The Campbell and Barnes pick-ups have very good potential but they are projects.
Now where is the star of this group??? We need help like right now.
Who says he has to contribute from day one. Other than Campbell I don't think any of our lb commits will contribute on day one, but who knows maybe when they get to be JRs and SRs they will be ready.
Harris, Bynum, and Lewis will all contribute next year.
