We also have -4 LBs so I mean... Not exactly questioning this. The Crump offer was stupid, hasn't seen the field a single time and he is going into his 4th year.

Do you even watch the games?:ermm: No Crump is not a star, but every team has guys like him.

Probably why this kid isn't on a lot of radars is the size and prestige of his school. Only 750 student K-12 and as far as I can tell no history of producing collegiate football players. If he didn't go to any camps I can see why the recruiting services don't know about him.

Had he stayed at Daphne, his stock would be much higher. Especially with the exposure that Yeldon got, this kid would have blown up.

Hella offer list for a two star. Has the size, film looks good, and we need LB's bad. I hope we land this kid star or no stars.

And c'mon people lay the Eff of Crump. Dude is a Vol and has givin everything he could to this program. Show some class and support our players.

Guys like Crump aren't worth a scholly. I could count the plays that he has actually played at Linebacker where he was recruited to play. He isn't even considered a "depth" guy that will eventually play. I'm at every single home game and multiple away games so you could say I watch them. It isn't worth to take scholarship wasters like Crump, when you could save that spot and back count for the next class like TAMU, they have 34 commits and counting.

they could be recruiting this guy as a fullback. We don't have any of them.

Bring him to Volcountry! He could do short yardage running plays, if need be. He looked hard to bring down. If we're recruiting him at LB, then I'm fine with that too....he doesn't mind throwing his body around that's for sure!

Ok . . WANT! I don't care how many stars this kid has, he can play! His competition isn't the best but he dominates. He certainly has an eye for finding the ball carrier.

You are right, we should keep offering guys like Crump scholly's. You also probably like losing seasons and not going to bowl games too.

Were you even around when Crump was signed? Do you understand how recruiting works? Ahh I get it now, you think the 4 and 5 stars of the world are littered all over special teams. You have to take guys willing to give their all, thats part of the process (obviously one you do not comprehend).

Or, here's a better idea. Let's keep the starters on the field ALL THE TIME and have a depleted roster just so we don't have "players like Crump" that want to be here on the field. Is that your solution??

This(you) are/is childish. Let walk-ons, or guys who are actually going to develop play special teams. He has been keeping the bench warm and taking up a scholly while he has been here. THAT IS IT.

I love how you are arguing with facts.

I think Walton would be a good addition. The film looks great. He has the athleticism to play offense or defense. He has the size and skills to add depth and push for PT. Stars don't matter, when you've got talent you have it.
