I think that will be the case with a lot of recruits. They're buying what Dooley's selling, he's just got to show that he's the real deal. I think he does that.

I thought that too, but I looked up where his HS is, and I reconsidered. It's a pretty rough area of town.

Wish I was up there I would go. Areas shouldn't worry you too much man. I've been in some supposedly bad areas in my own city and not gotten in any trouble. All you have to do is watch around you.

Nah, I feel ya, and I live in a seedier area up here right now. Last time I was down there to go to a catfish joint, the cops stopped me and asked if I was lost. I was like WTF?

I would go, but I'll be back in Knox for law school come August. I'll be happy to go to some home games again, been away too long.

I agree though, if you keep your head, and act comfortable, you're likely to be fine in most places you go.

Not posting doesn't mean I'm not around :)

I have no idea if he's staying in state. Auburn fans feel confident but Tennessee should feel just as confident. Tennessee definitely has the advantage with depth.

If Alabama gives a real offer, that'll be the end of it.

A big plus for Toney was the time he was able to spend with coahces Derrick Ansley, Sal Sunseri and Derek Dooley. During that time the coaches let him know he was priority for the Vols.

"They told me how much more they wanted me. Last time I was up here for junior day and all the guys came and this weekend was more one-on-one with the coaches and meeting with the coaches and that lets me know they want me more," Toney said.

Toney doesn't expect to make a decision anytime soon as he hopes to visit both the Vols and Tigers several more times before making up his mind.

"Basically, between these two schools I just want to keep visiting every time and I know it's going to be tough," Toney offered. "I probably won't decide closer to signing day. I just feel like these two schools are like home and where I need to be."

Yep grew up in the Memphis area an worked in down town Memphis for many years. Keep your wits about and you'll be fine. Some of the best BBQ places are in the seedier parts of town.

I find myself in many a hole in the walls. Lol but if you were to see me you would say this guy shouldn't be here. Thing about it is you have to be ready to take it to the next level at any time. I'm looking forward to hearing from Tha Don about Yannick. Think I may take a road trip and watch Toney this year. Not too bad of a drive to Huntsville. Hell I may go to Nashville afterwards. Lol

I dont know if you want to go drive and watch Huntsville high play. They are going to be a really bad team and they also changed there region this year, so they are going to be playing tougher teams than they were last year. They really only have two really good guys on the whole team and that is about it.

Guess it's a good thing we're only recruiting Toney instead of the entire HHS team..

We just want to see Toney play anyway to see his talents not all of Huntsville

I plan on watching one guy so I won't really care. Plus it'll probably just be a pitstop for me anyways.
