You got to love cfb fans in the state of AL. I enjoy recruiting as I have stated for the entertainment but down there it goes way beyond that of rival fans.
Dee Liner,
In the best interests of Auburn football I've held my tongue since the first time I ever saw you interviewed. I did so because I've always been bothered by the so called "creeders", etc. and believe that the most important part of football is winning football games, sorry guys. I honestly could really care less if you're a classless ass as long as you help AU win games, unless your attitude is to the point that its detrimental to the team. That being said, I truly always felt like we were selling a bit of our soul with Liner. Dee, its painfully obvious that you're an arrogant, undisciplined thug with no respect for anyone but yourself. I have absolutely zero doubt in my mind that you'll be another never-was who couldn't live up to his high school "rivals potential". I remember my freshman year at Ole Miss before I transferred to AU and all the hype around "University of South Panola"'s Chris Strong. Maybe he can be your Tony Dungee? We're still "facebook friends" and I can assure you that he's got nothing better to do. Not because you lack the ability, although you do seem lazy, slow off the line, and selfish. You show every sign of a textbook "cancer" to your team and appear to be totally uncoachable. Perhaps that's why you committed to the previous staff. If your family has any self-respect I hope they reamed your ass for the way you handled interviews. Looking down your nose at men twice your age and all of the "no comment" trash. I genuinely never wanted you at AU but felt it was necessary for keeping the class together. Reuben shows some of the same arrogance but he seems to be a little misguided and caught up in the spotlight, Dee, you're just a thug. Reuben seems like a kid enjoying his 15 minutes.
Of course, with the disgusting state of our nation today I'm sure I'll be slain as a racist for calling you a thug, but someone has to say it. You were the kid I wanted to cold-cock in the mouth in middle school football. Because I was too young to see it how the coaches did, that you'd been raised poorly and never had anyone to slap the **** out of you when you deserved it. I have zero doubt in my mind that Auburn football is better off without Dee Liner. To be clear, I wouldn't say that about TJ Yeldon, even if I secretely wish horrible things upon him. He's a good football player and contributes to his team. To put it in perspective, when Barkley runs his mouth sometimes and shows his painful ignorance it makes my blood boil, because he represents me and the degree on my wall, despite the fact that he doesn't have one. Despite his entertainment value, we don't need any more Barkleys. AU is a respected academic institution and shouldn't be represented by incoherent idiots. I can't help but think that Tim Cook and Jimmy Wales would agree. But I want to make one thing clear
This isn't about sours grapes, losing a kid to Bammer. I could care less if they win 10 titles in a row, my diploma will still say Auburn and theirs will still say UpdykeU. Life is bigger than football. As a prime example, take Carl Lawson. In stark contrast to Dee Liner, Carl has been a respectful, admirable, humble young man throughout the course of his recruitment. God knows that I'd be an arrogant little bastard if I got the kind of attention that he's received over the past few months. Carl is a hell of a football player and he handles it like he should, like business. If Carl decides that Clemson is the best fit for him, more power to him. I genuinely wish him the best. Of course, I'll always think he'd have been better off at Auburn, but that's inevitable. He's not a dumb kid, he's a respectable young man. I honestly admire him for sticking with Auburn even to this point. He's seen a lot come to pass and hasn't wavered. You honestly couldn't fault the kid if he flips, that's his prerogative.
In short, Dee seems to be an unintelligent, arrogant punk and is the last person I ever wanted representing my alma mater. I'll sadistically enjoy watching his inevitable fall from grace as a result of the disgusting way that he's conducted himself over the past several months.
Good riddance, dumbass.
Yourstruly,
Boomhauer
I can not imagine what will be said if he decides for UA. And not sure how Lawson is any different than Liner. Liner has not flipped just decommitted. Atleast he is telling them I am no longer interested, while Lawson is still committed but yet taking visits. Both have stated they were looking at their options since the old staff got fired. Lets not forget Lawson has had a few off the fields issues as well. But it all comes down to one simple thing, Liner appears to be headed to UA, where Lawson will not. Got to love rivals.
