Had over 15,000 at one point and then it went away. An amazing day. Hope this ship can be righted. Today was a good start.

Agree OP. I've never heard of a fan uprising having this much influence. Anyone know of similar situations???

Lol...I had non-Vol friends all over the country glued to the day's tumultuous events. They were more concerned than I was.... which is essentially where I'm at with UT football. I used to get anxiety over crap like today... now I just point and laugh

I think we may be the first, at least in America. I remember Auburn fans being bitter when CGC was hired but we went into full revolt. We made our voices heard.

I watched it peg out at 16,000+. Freak was holding the server together with duck tape and prayers :)

I was wondering about other forums when it was so crazy in here, like is there 2 guys over in the water polo thread wondering where there like button went?

I would be willing to bet the next hire coming up will be the worst in Vols history. What respectable coach in the country would want to follow this debacle?
Give me a break dude. Someone who sees the upside of a fan base who really gives a darn. We supported Kiffin. We supported Dooley. We supported Butch. Ok, maybe not Dooley so much... ;) but we’ll get behind ya if we see progress. If we were in Auburn’s shoes yesterday morning leading up to the AL game we wouldn’t have been calling for Gus’ head. I’d say the lack of interest is in the AD and Haslams waaaay more than the fan base.
