I didn't complain about rates falling, but that article was a fluff piece that didn't recognize the fact that this industry is an anomaly.

They’re notoriously bad. I think WATE did a story on them having incredibly high rates compared to surrounding areas and basically nothing can be done about it.

I haven't noticed the prices of goods and services falling since the tax cuts. Fact is that these particular companies are in a highly regulated industry and are returning some of the tax savings to consumers because of that regulation.

Quick question... what is the net effect of this tax cut for these companies vs the net effect of giving the tax cut directly to the consumers?
