I have not followed his recruitment as much as you. I know our coaches will evaluate who remains after NSD...and we may be in the market for help at LB.

I know what I think. I can't wait for this recruiting crap to be over. I need to get some work done. From football season to coaching changes to recruiting. I need a volnation break.

I always find it funny that when the media guys say a recruit is leaning toward being a Vol he is right on the money, knows what he is talking about, or has reputable info. If they claim the kid is leaning elsewhere, he is an idiot, moron, has no clue, or whatever. It's almost automatic in these threads. :eek:lol:

The rule of thumb is all these so called experts are clueless. The only difference between them and any fan on this board is they get paid to stalk recruits and hope that after the 20th call the recruits finally gives in and tells them whatever they want to hear just to leave them alone. I would wager most of the time the recruits regret answering the phone.

To be fair, I called Newberg a dummy too. And he predicted Kirven to UT.

It makes me cringe whenever a reporter includes in his article "I had been texting such and such recruit all day when he told me..."

Its the natural order of things. Actually, media guys are always idiots, morons, etc. Its only when they give us a lean that hey have a moment of clarity.

I was not picking on you or pointing you out. I just always have to laugh when I see someone quote one of the recruiting sites or the "insider" guys. If he says the guy is not all VOL then you can bet within 3 posts he is called every name you can think of and has no clue what he is talking about.

Honestly I think most people realize they're just selling their product, generating interest. KK is one of those guys that will keep them, and their readers, guessing all the way to NSD. They're as FOS as the rest of us.
