I'll say this, if we land Kirven it will be a big shot across the bow of Beamers vessel. Going into this weekend Tennessee was in very good shape with Kirven, they need a really good weekend with him.

Landing Kirven will go along way getting us back in to VA. After nsd you will see us making a strong push into the Carolinas again, now we have the horses to get those kids.

I have a question...with skeet saying the HS coaches were helping us with Kirven, it made me think...does Dooley have strong connections in the Viginia/West Virginia area from his playing days at UV? Just thought there could be something to that.

Dooleys Uncle Bill Dooley was a head coach at Va. Tech for a number of years in the 70s and then went on to coach at North Carolina as well. CDD played at Virginia so yes he would have strong connections I would think.

According to Babyvol on TOS, Kirven's coaches think that UT is the best place for Korren. Here is a post reportedly from one of his coaches, who is claiming plausible deniability.

According to*one of his coaches*on the pay side of a VT board (who is a VT fan), they are not pushing*either program....and he got pretty defensive when the rumor was discussed.Here*is the coach's post that i am referencing....no that is bs the brookville coaches are not pushing him anywhere. Most of the coaches are tech fans or uva fans. I am the biggest tech fan in the world but my loyalty goes to the kid and not a school. The staff is pushing kk to make a decision that is best for him. We don't push schools. We didn't push logan or zack to goto Tech either. Nor did we push Devin Bolling to go to Wake or Deshon Foxx to goto UCONN. Or the other kids we have at 1aa schools. Why would a coach push a kid to go out of state. We love our players and treat them as our own and follow them and go watch them. I guess this rumor starter knows nothing about Brookville and their staff. I would love to know where you heard this rumor so I can have a sit down and talk.
