Yeah sadly most people on this site know more than 99% of ut students about recruiting. I was talking to hvillecommamdo at the rock last night and he's a current student and apparently hardly anyone on campus follows. Only people out of the hundreds that walked by while we were painting last night that actually stopped and said anything at all about knowing who he was were two ut baseball players. I hate that they painted over it but it is their right. I felt it was sneaky as hell though seeing as they raided it within minutes of us leaving and our paint wasn't even dry yet.

Sounds like someone is going to have to sit watch over the rock in the future.

Exactly. People need to keep their expectations at a reasonable level. VT has always been the team to beat. He is visiting there this weekend. And he has said all along he wants his announcement to be a surprise. With all the momentum pointing in our favor right now, it would set up to be a surprise if he were to pick VT.

Not saying he will pick VT, but if he wanted to go there all along, enjoy the process and build suspense for the locals, this would be the way to do it.

I don't like the sound of this at all. If he is visiting there this weekend, I'd say we don't get him.:no:

I did that last signing day. The only problem was it was very hard to cancel the sub afterwards, but maybe they changed it

At 6'4, 272, is Kirven being recruited as DE in the new 3-4? 272 seems way too small to play nose IMO. Or is the plan to bulk him up?
