Hell I'd go after targets, current commits, current players, anyone I thought I could bring with me. We need to win, let other programs worry about civility.

You're welcome to go after "several of Bama commits" but you'll find out quickly that your coaches will be talking to a wall with these recruits. It's going to hard to not only convince a kid to not go to a Nat'l Title contender but to go to a team that has been in turmoil for awhile. Maybe that is why Sunseri won't go after Bama commits because he know it will be impossible. But go ahead try to poach a recruit.

Eddie Goldman is close to a decision.

The five-star defensive tackle from Washington (D.C.) Friendship won't take anymore official visits and is zeroing in on the schools he traveled to this winter and fall: Auburn, Alabama, Florida State and Miami.

“No we're not going to take it,” Goldman's mother, Sharon Davis, said of the unused fifth official visit that her son has left. “We've been talking it over the last couple of days and we're getting close to making a decision on one of the four schools that we've already visited.”

He can contact recruits that are committed to Bama if he wants. We're already trying to get in touch with Goldman to see if hes interested in visiting here.

Even if we were able to get Goldman here for a visit, it would still have a similar turn out to Tim Jernigan last year imo. We're entering way late in the game here, but it still doesn't hurt to try.

Except for the fact that his lead recruiter at FSU didn't take a job at UT 2 weeks before NSD. Not saying we'll get Goldman but it's a bit different.

Agreed. I think this does nothing more than serve as another crazy "what if" that has almost no chance of happening but will make these next few weeks exciting.
