Nice to know that he could be part of a package deal, but I don't see him leaving the Midwest.

If any of the Texas schools or the Conestoga Wagon People (Oklahoma) or the Pokes (Oklahoma State) want him, he'll be gone.

STRENGTHS: Has excellent overall size and superior balls skills for a safety. McNeil does a nice job of staying low in his backpedal and demonstrated the knack of always being around the ball.
WEAKNESSES: Does he have the instincts to take proper tackling angles against the run? It would be nice to see some of these big safeties go through the boundary drills with the linebackers.
CONCLUSION: There is little doubt that he is one of the top safety prospects in the state of Texas. He may even be able to play corner versus bigger receivers. Look for his offer list to triple before it is all said and done.

"It was awesome," McNeil said of the camp. It was great to experience new things. The passion of the game in the SEC is greater than in the Big 12. You can tell that by the tradition at Tennessee and the people involved with the program."

Those people were highlighted by the coaching staff, a group that McNeil said he felt a connection to.

"They were amazing," McNeil said. "I felt a good connection with them and communicated well with them."

One of the best offer lists I've seen for a safety in 2012. That's huge if we get him back for an OV.

I don't know how accurate it is, but Rivals has his bench max at 175. If true, this kid will put on at least 25 lbs of muscle during his first 2 years in a college weight program.
