Would be absolutely hilarious if Rivals bumped Santos to 4* in anticipation of a Horn flip, and he stayed VFL.

I'm just curious what their explanation for bumping him to a 4* would be. There would be no way I could take anything Perroni says seriously after that.

No, but it would prove without a doubt that he's biased toward certain schools.

I think he has already proved that this cycle. I believe jmoore called him out on the Rivals board and asked some pointed questions about Santos or Sentimore (can't remember which). Perroni's response was essentially "he's a 3* because I said so, nobody has seen these kids more than me, I'm king of the world, now STFU." On top of being a pisspoor evaluator, he is also an ass.

Arizona Cardinals Acho, Sam OLB 6'2" 257 Texas
Baltimore Ravens Kindle, Sergio LB 6'3" 250 Texas
Cincinnati Bengals Muckelroy, Roddrick (Res) LB 6'2" 240 Texas
Kansas City Chiefs Johnson, Derrick ILB 6'3" 242 Texas
Washington Redskins Orakpo, Brian OLB 6'4" 260 Texas

In anticipation of Santos' flip to Texas, I thought it would be interesting to see how many LBs in the NFL came from the University of Texas. They are the five listed above, and one of them, Muckelroy, is a reserve. This is not an attempt to compare Tennessee and Texas, just thought it insightful to see how LBs from Texas faired in the NFL. Any thoughts?

lmao!

If I'm yahoo... Im firing him. Especially after the bama fluff incident.

I agree. That's ridiculous.

I think it was that Senimore is the only JuCo with proven SEC experience and yet he was rated so low. I still don't agree with his "evaluation."

He comes off as one of those guys who is on a 24/7 power trip.

All OLB/DEs except for one who doesn't even come close to Jerod Mayo. Dalton is a run stopper. If he wants that then UT is a better place to do that. He said it himself during his announcement. Big 12 doesn't offer the same style football that he wants to play. If I'm CSS or CDD I say "if you want to drop back into coverage 40-50 times a game then go to Texas."

I saw that too, but wanted to get someone else's input. There were some other players listed as DEs from Texas, but I only looked at LBs...regardless of ILB or OLB. I'm still hopeful Santos comes to Tennessee...not optimistic, but hopeful.
