Fair enough. The young man is entitled to make an informed decision for himself. We wish him the best wherever he goes, but really want him here... which is why we are pissed.
he meant tennessee has been opened and honest with him about his realistic chances of playing and contributing. not sure if that can be said about texas.
Look I love Texas, but do you think I want Dalton to hate me?
of course not. we want him to be happy with where he goes to school thats all. Volnation collectively understands what a big deal it is to get an offer from Texas, being from Texas.

We want Dalton to make his college decision on his own. Because we feel pretty confident if it was purely up to Dalton he would be a Vol. Not Johnny-Come-Lately Tejas who only decides Dalton is worthy of a scholarship a week before signing day.
I guess if I end up having a stud linebacker for a son one day and he gets a UT (The real one haha) offer, I'd probably want him at Tennessee.
That said, I hope Dalton ends up here though. UT needs a guy that can meet the SEC RBs and push them back. You can't really coach attitude into a player.
