Sounds solid to me!

It does sound good and we should like where we are at. However it is rather funny to read some of the comments on here. When Santos is quoted on another teams site he is just saying what they want to hear but quotes to our sites are treated as gospel. I am taking all of it with a grain of salt and I don't think this is over.

Haha it's all good. I can only hope he lives up to that. Would be a special player for sure.

I would say Hacksaw Reynolds + Dale Jones + Al Wilson

Otha Peters is Rico McCoy + Al Wilson + Raynoch Thompson

From here on out, it should be mandatory for ALL recruited lbs to remind us of Al Wilson's intensity, athleticism, and leadership qualities! Just a thought. Still think they should approach Al to be a GA.

I think we would all love Al to come on board as a GA, but everything I've read on numerous Vol sites indicates that he didn't complete his degree.

^ I don't understand your constant bashing of Nick Reveiz but the fanbase loved him and like someone said earlier, I'd take an entire team of kids like him. I know you claim to be a big-time talent evaluator but that kid had a good head on his shoulders and represented the university as well as anyone.

it's not bashing NR to say he wasn't the talent we need to compete in the SEC

This is so true and Ill admit I am a bit biased. I could tell several stories of the good things Nick has done off the field. He's a good person with the heart of a lion. You put his heart and soul in a body like AJ or Curt and you would have The Predator.

Having and ILB like Santos keeps the LSU RB out of the endzone two years ago.

I hated seeing him on the field for us. Let me know how far down we were as a program.

Now that is one more stupid statement. Nick Reivez was exactly the type player we want. Heart and effort, and he succeeded in making the plays. A great VFL. One our program can always be proud of.

Thompson, Wilson, Burnett, Simon, and Mayo were all really good LB's. I loved watching those guys play. I just really like NR because of certain stories I have heard about his character. He played his ass off for the Vols---every Saturday, every down, every minute. I think we can all respect that without comparing apples and oranges.
