Rivals big thing was his weight, saying he was around 265 and would be a DE instead of a ILB, I dont see how they can think that after watching his mobility in the obstacle course at the Under Armour game.
I wonder if they are mad that he played in the UA game and not the AA game? Maybe he turned them down and they are still butthurt about it, just a thought. The problem for them is that he weighed in at 253lbs and ran a laser timed 4.6 40 on the first day of UA practice...
So they are either ignoring this or they are ignorant of these facts if they are sticking to the "too fat, too slow" evaluation...either of which is unacceptable for an entity that makes money off of evaluating highschool football players
Doesn't matter to me at this point. Seen the film on Santos....Beast. Seen the film on Sentimore....Beast. Seen the film on Randolph....Beast (How'd he do as a FR?). Get them on campus, let's start winning with these 3*, then nothing else will matter.
If DD wins then a guy with the same skills 2 years from now will be a 4/5* player. That's why you have to take the "Bama is killing everyone in recruiting" thing with at least a small grain of salt. No question Saban knows and gets talent. But there is also no question that the players he likes get ALOT of love from Rivals.
ew Tennessee defensive coordinator Sal Sunseri visited with four-star linebacker commitment Dalton Santos this evening. I am told by Dalton's father that the visit went 'awesome!!!!'
Dalton is at a basketball game with some friends tonight and will not be talking with any reporters until tomorrow. I will get with him and give you the exact low down, but I am told that this visit with coach Sunseri has sured up Dalton Santos' commitment to Tennessee.
When I asked what father, Albert, and mother, Vista thought of Sal Sunseri, the exact reply I was given was: "Loved him. He was awesome! We are very lucky to have him."
