You are very wrong!
Santos and Peters are going to have to be really good to come in and play over AJ, Maggitt, Lathers, Harris, etc. People expect a lot out of Freshman around here just because we have had to rely on them the last few years. The hope is that in the near future we have the depth to allow us to redshirt and allow players to mature both mentally and physically. If they are needed to play, lets hope it isn't starting.
So is this the majority of volnations favorite LB recruit? I dont know that I could pick between him and Peters. But, I really like the thought of Santos in the middle beside AJ in a 3-4.
Also, who will play mike when we run the 4-3? (which I expect us to do about 80% of the time next year) Maybe Santos at mike and AJ at sam?
He's taking visits that say he's truly looking elsewhere, not just looking for warm weather vacations.
If he were in love with UT at this point, he wouldn't be. At best, he's uncertain. Giving all the coaching changes the last month, that's understandable. At worst, he doesn't want to come to UT any longer. Of all those committed to UT, he's the one that seems to me most likely to wind up elsewhere.
Not really. Our most recent commit ,Bourque, has the distinction of committing to all the schools that he officially visits which has been three .If that trend continues it will be four when he visits the Canes this weekend and then five at Nebraska on Jan 28.Dalton will be cemented in by sending Sunseri tommorrow.Dalton was quoted as saying he has been lost after Sirmon and Wilcox left. The Gps and compass is being dispatched to help him find his way out of the Wilderness .....and it will be successful.
Long shot at best but it is becoming very clear that the kid is willing to listen.
I find the arrogance of UGA and Richt comical. What has UGA ever done to think it can consistently hop on recruits this late in the game and act like they've got a shot with every single one of them?
They don't offer or even look at the video of in-state talent Davis but then act like he's one of their top priorities soon as he decommits and Richt "will be looking at his video." What a joke and an insult to the recruits at that.
Only red you'll be seeing on Santos is the ink that wears off your jerseys/helmets as he mauls your RB's and QB's in Orange for the next 3-4yrs.
I said LONG SHOT. Don't get mad, all recruits are fair game until NSD.
A bigger joke and/or insult is accepting a kid's commitment and then pulling his offer.
