VQ confirmed Santos would not be in town this weekend. Hubbs doesn't think his status with UT has changed, for they are waiting on a DC hire. He thinks as soon as the DC is hired, he'll make an immediate trip to Van, TX to see Santos.

Coach Dooley called him just a few mintues ago to tell him of the hire. He told Albert that Sal will be going to Texas to see Dalton on Monday or Wednesday. They are trying to figure out what to do about this weekend. Dalton is at school and Albert is yet to get in touch with him. They may come and they may not. We'll keep you updated.

I thought they were planning on driving to Knox this weekend. I just don't see them making it this late in the game.
It takes me 10 hrs to get to Knox from Monroe, LA and Van Tx is probably another 3:30 to 4 hrs west of here.

Maybe it'd be better if Santos doesn't come this weekend.
- more of CSS's attention for other recruits this weekend
- Santos still gets great news this weekend plus a visit during the week
- more of CSS's attention for Santos next weekend
- keeps Santos from visiting somewhere else next weekend

Oh yeah, plus you lose an hour in time change, so if they left now they should be in Knox by about 1 am.

There is a relatively new invention that is kind of like a car, but it floats in the sky. You might have heard of it. It is possible. Just giving you a hard time, man.

No offense taken, and I'm aware of those "shiny birds", but Santos has already used his official, so this one is on his dime, and it was my understanding that they couldn't really afford to fly in. I know I can't. I could be wrong though.

Someone just meet them at the airport and slip a few hundos into a firm hand shake and problem solved. :)

One of the Scout guys tweeted that Santo's dad likes the hire but they will not be coming up. However, Sunseri is coming to them Monday or Wednesday.

I think someone earlier had a great point, let SS go see them next week and then they can come back up for an unofficial later.
