For our programs sake, I really hope we get Shannon and not Steele. Watching the orange bowl? Not exactly boosting his resume as a coach right now. He hasn't all season either.

lsu couldnt stop WVU either

if ppl liked Steele before the game, this game should have no bearing.

3 straight turnovers by their offense didnt help either

Basically nothing went Clemson's way after the first few minutes and everything went WVU's way. The D couldn't stop WVU at all and the O had 3 straight turnovers. FIVE TD's in the 2nd Q by WVU. The bad for Clemson I think started when their RB fumbled on the 1yd line and WVU ran it for a 99yd score. All downhill from there for Clemson...

I'm fully aware of the bad TOs but good lord. 5 TDs in a qtr is inexcusable. Oh look, WVU just scored again. 56-20. 3min into the 2nd half.

WVU put up 28 on LSU. Half of what they've got on Clemson in essentially a half of game time.

At the end of the day players have to make plays and it's obvious that Clemson isn't.

All this crap about Clemsons D is worthless without some perspective. Are they deep? Are they young? Did they suffer through a lot of injuries to their best players? Were they supposed to have a very good D this year? I honestly don't know. I'm sure some of the statniks and news junkies can figure these questions out.

Didn't WV put almost 600 yrds on LSU? That is more than enough to put 60 on teams most of the time. IIRC WV had the bad turnover bug that game, or they prolly would have waxed them.

Whoa. Am I reading this correctly? WVU wax LSU? You've lost all credibility from this point forwards.

WVU threw the ball 63 freaking times versus LSU. I would hope they could get over 400 yards. At least.

WVU had 533 yrds but 4 TOs. LSU only had 366 yrds, but no TOs. I am pretty sure what I said is not out of the realm of credibility. LSU won 47-28. You know that is a messed up box score. LSU as they almost always are, was lucky. I don't care how you got it. To put 533 on LSU is a freakin good performance.
