See you guys later. I will be back in Feb to see how things went. I love the Vols too much, and I can't take this anymore. Happy new year, and remember in the end it's just a game. I hate getting in bad moods, and feeling down just because of junk like this. Sooner or later sunshine will follow rain, but right now it is pouring buckets, and I'm going to get out of it for awhile.:hi:

Fortenberry on vq has spoken to Santo's this morning and he says he's still a VOL but thinking. tifwiw

I think his mom (peters) told one of the coaches earlier, they may reconsider and visit somewhere else. Not positive on this one. Santos i am.

I'm not even talking about Santos or Peters. I'm talking about the disingenuous way that the lying POS presented the comments. Either he can't read, can't understand or is a piece of trash (or all of the above).

That isn't remotely akin to the authoritative pile of crap that you painted it to be. I don't give a flying turd about the info, but I do care that in your zest to be the cool kid in the kiddie forum that you mutilated his comment into something entirely different and then used his name for your validity. We need players who want to be here no matter the coaches to start recruiting right now to help keep this class together. Sometimes I think it is your peers who you want to play with the next four years who can impact where you want to go when you have bonded. Hoping Obrien and Croom can help get Santos and Peters back on the UT course.

What idiocy? He said santos won't be a vol and peters probably won't even visit. I posted that here. Go read the thread. I then posted his second quote saying he wasn't sure about peters but santos he was.

I've got it. So unless I have inside information I shouldn't go around spreading what skeeter says even though he is the one proven insider. Are you seriously mad that I posted santos info in the santos thread? I think you're the one with the agenda showing.

good grief. I've read the thread and the posts. You absolutely misrepresented what he said in the post I jumped on. Skeeter hasn't been positive of anything since this started, yet you've tried to paint him as such.

Are you telling me that as of now that you believe Santos to be gone based upon anything Skeeter has said?

TIFWIW....UT has already begun the interview process and a top agency is working in tandem with a couple of prospects for the new DC. Hart is leading the process while talking to Dooley. An announcement could be made as early as Thursday or Friday.

The final two opening positions will be filled and Hart wants to have these positions filled by the end of the month.

For now, I have only heard of 2 decommitments. Santos, Peters are still Vols. However, AD Hart and CDD realize how crucial it is to have the DC hire ASAP.

This comes from a pretty reliable source but like I said...TIFWIW.

He literally said he was sure about santos. Don't see why me posting it here for discussion is a problem. I posted that verbatim. I'm not the origin of the info. Obviously people want to know what santos is thinking today. I do atleast.

Thanks for the information. I'll take it for what it's worth though. I'm sure there is a lot of "reliable sources" out there confirming things that may or may not be true.

If Skeeter is in the AD(for the record, I think he is), this news is a tough pill to swallow. I am sure alot of negative comments about recruits ect are flying around the department. Kids will have knee jerk reactions. However, adults do as well. You can look at today's posts. I could see with the frustration of the situation where Skeeter here someone state that Santos would not be a Vol. Dust needs to settle and a hire needs to be made. Will lose and gain some. Right now, good and bad rumors/news should be taken with a grain of salt.

Don't I know it! I want to pop in the 85 Sugar Bowl and pretend this is all done but I know everything is going to be okay.

Skeeter posted when both Hamilton and Hart were AD. He can't be the AD.

Yeah unfortunately '85 was before my time. I missed most of the days when UT was at the top of the college football world. Good thing I'm only 21. It could be a while before UT gets back there.
