Man this dude is an old school Tennessee linebacker. My favorite player already. Anybody on here old enough to remember watching Hacksaw play?

No kidding it was almost 1981 surreal like. It was awesome if you ask me.........I love it when he said something to the affect "we're going to play defense the way I want us to play defense" huh and the way the coaches want us to play.

congrats on this get. It came down to him wanting to play in the SEC more then anything. This kid will be a stud. but What if A&M joins the SEC before signing day? does he switch over or does he stay with the Vols???

Yes, I remember Hacksaw well. Just posted about him in another thread a few days ago.

Here's hoping Santos will be just as good. He has all the tools.

I would guess by that time his family would have already got housing in Knoxville:))) and he would stick to his commitment.

Dooley hasn't had a recruit flip on him after committing yet. I'd say I would bet on Santos staying in orange.

I called the commish and he said that T A&M will get their invite right after signing day in FEB.

Congratulations on joining Rocky Top, Mr. Santos. IMO, you are the single-most important recruit of the 2012 class.

Playing in the SEC is not the biggest thing for this kid; I'm sure it's mostly early playing time and playing for one of the best college football teams in history; besides, why would he want to come to the SEC and play for the next Vanderb ..... errrm, I mean A&M?
