“The SEC is a big thing to me for sure. The Big 12, they are going to spread the ball out, they are going to throw more times than run. In the SEC, that is what I do, I hit people, I come down hill, meet somebody in the hole and try to knock their head off,” he said.

because of that last line. he is a must get. throw the kitchen sink at him dooley. that is the kind of mentality i want on this team.

I am just saying we threw in a governor to sweeten the deal. Am I right in thinking that Sam Houston is the only person to have been governor of two states, Tennessee and Texas?

Wasn't he President of Texas?

Wherever he commits, the recruiting will continue till signing day.

That's also the feeling I get.

T A&M is garbage...he wants playn time n wants 2 win. What better place to get that than UT. He And his dad both love our academics as well. He could probably start day 1 for us. MHO.....He will be a VOL......GBO!!!!!

I'm a pessemist and could probably fall under the title "negavol."

But I think we get this kid.

This will be all over as soon as Texas A&M joins the SEC....

A&M will not be joining the SEC soon enough to affect his recruiting (if at all).

I believe that the timing of his announcement will be important. The sooner he announces, the better for us. Once he gets back home, the A&M folks will be working on him hard and the longer he takes to make his decision the more time there is for the Tennessee pixie dust to wear off of his memory.

My gut feeling is that he will be a Vol, but....

Pull for him to make a decision soon.

I have a furnished condo with a view of the stadium and river sitting unoccupied if his parents need a place to stay.....Just saying.

:whistling:

Disclaimer:

Dear NCAA, I commited no violation with the above statement because Dalton has no idea the offer was made and if it would make you feel better one of his parents could take an online course to become a pastor.
