Early playing time is a Tennessee lean though plus Alabama already has 3 LB committments for this years class including 2 (4 star) guys. Would Bama take 4 LB's in this class? I'll be glad when there full up. They can't take everyone but it sure seems like it.

I was thinking the same thing. Doubt the Bams will have room. We offer much earlier playing time. Sound slike if he wants to play in the SEC he will be a Vol.And we need him bad. Hopefully he committs after camp.

They arent going to have room I dont think. They are running out of spots and its only july. And early playing time is very important. Thats is great news for us.

I would not read to much into that quote. He is a 17 year old kid. Probably did not map quest to make sure he gave the appropriate hour range before his interview.

IMO I think CPS has been staying n Santos ear. Looks like its payn off with gettn him 2 camp here this month. Its gonna b hard 4 him 2 survive the full court press from all our coaches. Its been stated as far as LBs ......he's our top priority.Bammer has 3 LB commits already with Kwon possibly waiting 2 commit. I really feel good with our chances. Early playn time is a major factor which TN can give him. Distance isn't a factor.I feel that CPS has made an impression withSantos. I think our coaches r very underatd recruiters. They will prove their genius with this class. If he don't commit at camp. He'll leave w/TN his leader. I dont know n e thing about Bammer's depth chart(all opinions r welcome). Im curious about Bammer LB depth. How good their 3 LB commits r.Also how good their upperclssmen LBs r.....thanx guys fire away

It's Bama, they have talent everywhere. They also run a 3-4.

Hope this kid gets his 4* because of his play and hard work.... and not if he just commits to Bama.

Wow dude...you read so much further into that quote than you should have...

That coincidnce in no way confirms he is leaning there...there may be other things that do....but not that

IMO we will become a major factor w/ Santos once he gets on campus, see's our facilites, & the coaches show him our depth chart.

The kid said distance was a factor early, but wants to play big boy ball in the SEC. So curious young teenager intrigued by an Alabama offer decides to use this internet thing to check the distance.

Just so happens the distance from Van to Tuscaloosa is exactly what he quoted, coincidence?

Who knows, just a random thought? Hope we impress when he camps, would be a good pickup at a position of need.

I agree. This is one of the rare instances where an elite prospect is going to see everything we have to offer and be more than just interested in us or simply put us his top three.

I agree jmoore. How can it not be alluring to him when he see depth chart. The Stadium size alone will impress him and you know they will pull out all stops to get him. Wouldn't it be great if he pulled the trigger after camp? I know that is a long shot but you never know whats going on in a young kids mind,

Santos is good enough to play as a freshman no matter where he goes. I just hope he picks Vols.

You caught that also. I was sitting here thinking that it takes 6 just to get from Knoxville to Memphis. We are off of his list, folks. Move on...
