Ever since that whole alamo thing, I have rooted against texas. They let davy die. Oh, and John Wayne is from Oklahoma.

Santos has noted that Texas A&M is still in the mix, but it is evident that the style of football in the SEC is conducive to his football mindset.

“The SEC is a big thing to me for sure. The Big 12, they are going to spread the ball out, they are to throw more times than run. In the SEC, that is what I do, I hit people, I come down hill, meet somebody in the hole and try to knock their head off,” he said.

“In the SEC they are running the ball all the time. They are trying to pound it down your throat. And coming from a linebacker, that is what you want. You don’t want them to drop back to throw it every play. You want to meet somebody in the hole and make a collision.”

yep and when he plays okla okie st baylor they pass 75/25 now west virgina and tcu ttech pass and they spread you out. the conference only has 10 teams wont even be a championship all pass happy offense if he cant stay in pass coverage he will ride the pine or be a dend and maybe he will do well but he is not fast enough to cover backs out of the back field or te/wr they will recruit over him and they have done that this year with 3 other lbs. santos would have fit better in the sec but he may suprise and get some time but will def be a big learning curve and family and beaing a fan may have cost this kid big money in the nfl only thing he might get is 5 yrs in college one hell of a party and its all free but he will see it all from the sidelines good luck we are tennessee and will win without him

Lesser competition. Can play faster in that conference. I disagree. He will do more in the Big ? than he would ever do in SEC.

lesser competition but he will be running all over the field and there is bo way this kid keeps up at linebacker. I this kid will do well on the d line at texas he wil pass rush and try and stop the run. One thing I know he will not like is not being the head man on defense taking play calls from someone that is better and someone the coaches told dalton you will be there and hes not if he sees the field . This kid will try and drop weight and by the time he has the footwork and speed it may be to late. SEC would have give him that shot as a freshman.

Cannot wait for this thread to go away....It will hit 10000 today easily, and it will probably be a record....for someone we will never speak or talk about in years to come..

No problem with Santos at Texas...but to give him the highest post count ever on VOL Nation for an individual player that will not attend just goes to show us that we love drama at VOL Nation.....

I support this msg....Awesome thought......Santos doesn't deserve 10,000 and it could serve as a reminder of 99.99% comment that I am headed to TN....

That is the way that Santos needs to be remembered....99.99% committed......

Lol at people on here talking about santos. We've moved on to other things in this thread.

Why was everyone hating on bud light? That's default beer. I had a buddy try to convince me natty light and pbr were better. I told him he only liked them bc they are cheaper and he's an alcoholic. Im just gonna throw this out there .....



I like mich ultra.
