Yes, a little concerned is right. I am a little concerned that UT is falling behind the top SEC teams. I am a little concerned that a historically crappy USCe is starting or already did take UT's place on the SEC totem pole.

2 commitments, 1 of which is a soft verbal while Vandy takes the states best player. Then you have to read about those idiots from Georgia and their dumb Dawg Night and getting 5 commits.

I hate myself and I feel dirty for saying this, but I miss Kiffin.

No offense, but probably the worst thing you (boseefus) could have possibly said. Obviously this is MO, but I'd rather have a program with a little integrity.

It's almost like big events in July help you get commits. Wish we had one of those right around now...

The low IQ fans are really coming out of the woodwork right now. "I Miss Kiffin." Why do you think we are in the predicament we are in? If you miss Kiffin, please show your way out. I hear he is coaching at USC now. Do us all a favor and get over to the Trogans board.

I would say were in the predicament were in mainly because of CPF. Most of the players you're excited about were Kiffin recruits, don't fool yourself.


And NO I'm not a Kiffin lover

Our slow recruiting pace worries me as a fan.......however this time last year we were not sitting the trail on fire either and the class ended up fine. We have very limited scholarships and huge needs. Not a good comba but i will wait till december before i start slamming the staff for their efforts. The NCAA situation is prob hurting us more than anyone realizes.

Dude...... kiffins lone recruiting class was recently voted the WORST of the last decade by rivals. Most every "impact" player he signed either left or was kicked off. Not to mention if he were still here we would be staring big NCAA santions in the face too.

I agree with you. It is primarily CPF's fault, but you do not see many people come out and say they miss him.

Kiffin only made things worse. We would've been better off hiring CDD right away.

You must not keep up with recruiting much. You do realize Tyler Bray, Da'Rick Rogers, Justin Hunter, Juwuan James, Corey Miller, Matt Milton, and Jacques Smith were all Kiffin recruits.

Justin Hunter wasn't coming to Tennessee until Dooley got here and reeled him in.

Jac Smith- He would've been here had I been coach.

If Kiffin was the reason Da'Rick was at UT- why did he not follow him to USC? Reason: Chaney liked Nash enough to offer him and in turn got him to come here with him.

Justin Hunter- Why didn't he go to USC if Kiffin was the reason he was at UT? And he was far from committing here had Dooley and Joseph not went and won that family over.

Quit acting like those were Kiffin recruits; it's dumb.

Everyone of those I just named were coming to UT. I will say Dooley did a great job keeping them here, especially being able to pick up where Kiffin left off on Da'Rick.

Didnt Rogers come out and say he wasnt feeling tn with kiffin as the coach? And Smith was a CPF recruit. Hewas coming here regardless of the coach. Even if you DO give kiff credit for all the guys above, there is a "hyped" recruit that has been kicked off or left from the 2009 class to go with each one. I just cant agree that any part of our program would be "better off" with him still here.

Its dumb for you to say Jac and Bray weren't Kiffin recruits when they both commited while he was our coach. And asking why they didn't follow him to USC is a dumb question. Not every kid is going to follow someone all the way across the country no matter how much they like him.

I'd say you're thinking of James Stone. He said had Kiffin still been here he wouldn't have signed with UT.

I have no love affair with Kiffin. You have so much hate for the guy that you blind yourself of the fact that the guy could flat out recruit.
