This dudes gonna be good in the slot or on the outside when fully developed. Every time I read something on him something's mentioned about his strength. And I think both Worley and Peterman are gonna be really good QBs. Hell I think Peterman will be flat out awesome. So Drae has some very productive days ahead of him on the hill.

Drae is my pick to have a big impact as a freshman. He's SEC ready body wise. And I think he end up making some big plays for us. He has a sneaky way of getting deep too.

Agree. Gonna be tough to jam at the line. I'm not gonna lie, I like him because stayed home. Burns my arse when I see legit in state kids leave the state. I don't care if they're from Bristol, Memphis, or anywhere in between.

It also helps that he's the only 100% healthy freshman receiver so he may get to see the field more than people think.

Question...is blanc ahead of bowles and croom only because of the play book? Should we look for those two to pass blanc soon?

Herman Lathers and others raved about how he found ways to get open in 7 on 7's in the summer. If they pass Blanc, I think it gives us even more reason to be excited.

This. I think it's been a shock to most that he's shining the way he is. I felt he could be a solid player, but never this soon. He's a great story in the making.

Blanc is healthy too. But Bowles is good enough where he doesn't need anybody to be hurt to help him move up the depth chart. The more he learns the playbook the more dangerous he'll be.

I agree on Bowles. If I may ask, what part of Cody's game do you not like? He has the size and speed. Honestly, just curious.

I think it's a mix between him being an EE , while also showing the ability to hold his own and make plays.

Read a post where I've said I don't like Blanc's game. I just like Bowles game more.

I guess I insinuated that you didn't like his game b/c you basically said he can't move up the depth chart unless someone is injured.

No I wasn't talking about Blanc at all. Was saying that in reference to the post I quoted. Croom and Pig not being healthy has nothing to do with how good Bowles is/will be. Was just saying Blanc was a healthy freshman WR too.....

Gotcha. Pig needs to get healthy fast. I think he can own the middle of the field w/ Da'Rick gone.

You think they are going to line Pig up on the outside?

Have no idea, but I know he'll be hell to press with his strength at his height. And he gets on top of CBs fast in his highlights. They're not getting a chance to flip their hips. I really like Howard's game at WR. He'll make a living breaking a tackle from a CB and riding out.

Did Blanc not go to camps? Or did he go and not do well? Just trying to figure out how his measurables and skillset = 2*s? Is it because he played in Knoxville? Seriously, I really don't know.

Quite often folks think a guy can't be legit if his HS competition isn't the greatest. But there are some pretty good teams here in East Tennessee, especially in the upper divisions. It's good enough to where if a kid is head and shoulders above the rest, just flat ballin, he's probably pretty damn good.

He didn't camp and he committed early.
