He's from the same mold as Jabriel Washington as a person...SOLID kid with SOLID family...of course in Jabriel's case Dooley didn't pursue as hard as Kiffin had...gravitating toward larger DB's I think....Drae could wound:yes up with Jabriel at Alabama...He is praying about it and will be led by the Holy Spirit (cant blame him for that)...But this is definitely the type of kid Dooley is after...Makes for a solid program!!:yes:

Up to 10 offers now. Most recent offer was from Notre Dame last week. Says UT is recruiting him the hardest, but he still has no favorites.

Thus far, the 6-foot-1, 198-pound Bowles has offers from Arkansas, Arkansas State, Auburn, Kentucky, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Virginia. Last spring, the Vols became the first to pull the trigger. Last week, Notre Dame became the most recent.

I wish he would go ahead and commit, but then again it might 'look' better if he beefs up his offer list more then commits to UT

I'm going to say that he's not a UT lock, so there's no way he commits anytime soon. Unless some major change has happened.

Don't be just so sure. I've talked to some people in Jackson here that know him and his family, and this is far from a done deal for UT. Grew up an Ole Miss fan, apparently. Not saying that we won't sign him, because I have faith in Dooley, but this is going to be a fight.

I've heard the same thing, I have a cousin that lives out there & is good friends with Bowles. He does like Ole Miss but IMO I like UT's chances in the end.

siap but I'm hearing this kid grew up an Ole Miss fan fwiw. Still have to feel good about UT's chances here imo tho.

we're in very good shape here, he could pull the trigger at anytime. kimbrow is another story, we're on the outside looking in with him at the moment.

Great news, thanks. Care to elaborate on Kimbrow? I'm sure we'll be on him hard throughout the whole process, but since he has already been quoted saying he likes UT and his parents are UT fans, I'm a little worried to hear we're on the outside right now.

Kimbrow is an absolute must get.

This is just speculation on my part, but the guy just may be living it up with all the offers he is getting. It's going be a fight for this kid till whenever he decides.
