Yeah, there was an article the other day on BOL talking about him getting an offer from them but in the VQ article today he said he hasn't got one yet.

I like how he moves around in the pocket but keeps his eyes downfield. Hope he holds off on a commitment and makes it to camp.

Only thing I'm wondering is how hard we would continue to pursue him if we can get Cyler Miles in for a visit and get his verbal. Both Miles and Gross are athletic QBs but not sure how much upside they have at other positions. Pair that with the fact that this is going to be a limited class and also that we don't have a huge need for QB in this class and I'm not sure if he's a take at that point.

Good for Will getting those offers. I think he's probably more of an athlete than QB, but who knows at this point. Kid is probably down on the take list right now though.

I'm with you. We're only going to take one QB this year and Miles would be a take over Gross. Gross is being offered at QB by most so you wonder if he would even accept a position switch or whether he would be a take for us at another position.

I cannot see the footage of Miles on Rivals due to the whole subscription thing....Can anyone give some details on how the two compare?

Corch Skrong is a great recruiter. It's scary to think what he will do when he gets his next job at a big school.

I think Strong actually wants back into the SEC, or I may be mixing him up with someone else

either way he's a hell of a coach and recruiter

Should we then hope Richt has a good enough year to stick around, at least until Strong is scooped by someone else? I would hate to see the type of class Strong could put together at UGA, given their incredible amount of in state talent.

Unless Lville has a really good year, I couldn't see UGA going after Strong if Richt was to be fired.

Good point. Despite his recruiting prowess, he is unproven as a head coach. However, stranger things have happened.

Memphis Melrose QB Will Gross said Tennessee is in his top five. He likes Bama and Cincy as well.

I dont understand why we chose to offer this guy over Voytik or Robinette. I feel like they would match up better in our offense than Gross.

Robinette doesn't have nearly the talent that Gross has. Voytik, I like. I think he's worth an offer, but we are shooting higher and it seems that we are looking for an athletic guy in this class. I really hope we can land Cyler Miles. I think he has the chance to be special.

Lots of people really like Gross.

Ageed on Robinette, I have lower as well on the list of QB's I would want us to take. I just like stature and height. Personally, heres what my list would look like. Miles, Voytik, Gross, and then Robinette. I like Miles, but I think we land Voytik in the end. He grew up a Vol fan, and has expressed interest in Tennessee.
