'12 TN OL Ben Still

You guys act like Dooley doesn't know what he is doing. If he feels that Still isn't worthy of an offer yet then I believe him. IMO it is a good thing, and probably means we are looking good with some elite prospects.

I talked to Ben tonite he asked me if they invited Austin Allen to junior day I told him no and he said they didn't invite him either. Saud he has an offer from Ole Miss and likes it there

I believe we'll get Ben Still if we offer him. UT is the favorite to land him. He'll probably be a borderline 3/4 star ,but he has the potential to be a 4 star.

Also, my younger cousin attends MUS with Still and plays on the basketball and baseball team. My cousin is an Ole Miss fan, and he says that Ole Miss has been recruiting him a lot this year. Overall, he said that Still is a lifelong UT fan, and he's likely a future Vol (if offered) ,but Ole Miss will be going hard for him. He really likes Ole Miss.

I'm not trying to boost my credentials or anything. I am definitely not an insider. I'm just writing what I've heard.

I think he realizes that UT had a lot of olineman in the '11 class and has a lot of other schools going after him and will certainly heed their interest. Ole Miss, Arkansas, State, and Duke have been recruiting him hard. He is the top lineman in the state, and you'd think UT would like to lock him up.

They are only going to take 2-3 Olineman in this class. They aren't going to settle for anything less that national caliber guys on that side of the ball. If guys like Still and Jelks want an offer, they are going to have to camp at Tennessee and try and earn one.

That's what I was thing. They do have a lot of similarities. Why not invite Still to JR. Day??Posted via VolNation Mobile

This or like Montrell said he is going to have to camp there. His dad should have him prepared on what he needs to do.

This staff sent out too many early last year and took some questionable commits. They will be more selective this time around.

I agree w/ Montrel Hardy.

Ben is a good prospect but given Tennessee's (OL) recruiting success in 2009 & 2010, they will look to sign 3-4 elite OL prospects. Eric Still is a VFL, he knows the score.

It's also still very early in the process.

I agree it's early, but is any of the Tennessee o line prospects coming for junior day. Bars has even got some early interest from Florida. I just hope they don't wait too long to show interest in any of them.

Give me the best football players with the best character... period. If they have good character, they will bleed orange when the strap it no matter where they grew up.

If Dooley thinks Still has what it takes, he will pick up the phone.

They look about the same on film and at this point in recruiting Robinson had more offers. But who knows?

I am pretty sure that he has more offers than Rivals currently lists. I think he has one from Memphis, Arky, Duke, and maybe Miss St as well. I also heard that Bama, Auburn, and I think it was UGA have all shown strong interest to this point.

I have to agree with LV that he is a better prospect than Robinson.
