Watched him play against Dresden this year in the playoffs. Has some decent speed like other posters have said may turn into something special.

I played high school football and baseball with his brother. I have known ryeon since he was a little runt. His Mom, Sister, and brother(played football at west point) They are a class act. I miss them. Ryeon if anything like his brother C.J. he will be very devoted and smart. C.J. was a smart student. The mother is a great loving mother. Class family this is. I would love to see ryeon in orange.

Good luck young man! Give your all for Tennessee! Hope to see you on the field putting some LBs on their backs and opening the holes for the RBs.

Let's assume for a minute that injuries hit a depleted LB or FB core next season. If they carry only two schollie FB's, one of which graduates after this next season, they can use a guy like him no matter the scheme. Chaney has one year left on his contract. If he is not at UT next season, if anyone knows what scheme the next OC will use please let us know now. If they are going more like the Colts running game scheme we know for sure there will be a new OC after next season.

Wedley has good speed and leg strength for his weight and you can always use guys like that on ST and special situations on one side of the ball.

The team does have a walk-on FB behind Bart... and Fugate. I think his name is Austin Taylor, sophomore. The guy has strength and skills, and he will give his all.

I am really proud of the kid. We had another linebacker from over here in West Tennessee about his size that came to UT. Mr. Al Wilson.

I know times change and players sizes change, but we had a Defensive guy from West Tennessee back in the late 70s about that size that was pretty decent NOSE TACKLE.

Not sure if you remember him... Jimmy Noonan??

AKA Tazmanian Devil
AKA Noooooooonan

we've had some really good 5-10 and 5-11 linebackers here, but Fugate is a junior next year so maybe thats where he ends up. Can you redshirt walkons and what happened with Fugate last year.

Yes
Some coaches call it funny money b/c many nonscholly players get academic money

A football or basketball player can't receive academic money if they are recruited. Other sports yes but not FB or hoops. This guy appears to be a recruited walk-on.
