Like the comparison. Hopefully some of the armchair talent evaluators who diss Blanc and Smith and the coach's evaluation's will trust them and trust they know what they are doing. I have complete faith in them, especially Hinshaw who really liked Blanc and Smith.

Not trying to be a jerk, but you say coaches know how to evaluate talent, and then 2 sentences later, you question the position he is in.

Coaches aren't always right, but after spring and fall practice, they have a great idea of where to our him.

There was a lot of discussion about Blanc playing Safety during his recruitment. The main reason he got a shot at WR is b/c he was an EE & when he enrolled we had no depth at WR so we had to us him there.

I still think after this year he moves over to Safety. Kid just has the size, speed, & smarts to be a good defender in the backend. I wouldn't be upset at all if he stayed in the slot though. Reminds me of an athlete like Julian Edelman.

Troll to breaker is anyone who challenges him. He blows everything out of proportion. I back tn not players that leave the program for not being gift wrapped a position.

As for blanc I bumped to show people fresking out saying blanc was not worthy of playing here but obviously this staff believes he is as Dooley said he will play quite a bit on a crowded unit. Yet app I am a troll for this

He has the measurables for safety but I don't think he has that killer "hit" mentality.

Blanc is gonna be used in the slot and do not be surprised to see him making some great plays whether it be receiving or blocking. He's a talent just as Josh Smith is who due to fact they lived in Knoxville committed early and didn't go out looking at other schools.

Me too. I really pull even harder for kids like this that get bashed for no reason at all. They chose to be Vols and pretty much instantly and wanted badly to play for UT. I dont understand grown men talking about about kids that want to play for UT and will bust their asses to get better. All 3 i believe will be great offensive players for UT and i look forward and will be pulling for them.
