Who will Kimbrow choose?

Anyone think Vandy wins more than 1 or 2 games this year? That's what everyone is forgetting. It's Vandy. 2-10 Vandy. Sell that on signing day. I wouldn't be shocked if they went 1-11 this season. I've never given a shart about Vandy and I'm not starting now because they landed some street racing midget.

Here's a few numbers for everyone to digest before they freak out and jump off a cliff because this kid signed with a poor man's Ivy-league school:

Tennessee:

All-time record 789–340–53 (.690)
Postseason bowl record 26–24–0
Claimed national titles 6
1938, 1940, 1950, 1951,1967, 1998
Conference titles 16
Heisman winners 0
Consensus All-Americans 72

Vandy:

All-time record 558–567–50 (.496)
Postseason bowl record 2–1–1
Claimed national titles 0
Conference titles 13 (0 SEC)
Division titles 0
Heisman winners 0
Consensus All-Americans 30

Last time I checked, we signed Kimbrow's equivalent in last year's class, and his name is Devrin Young. Devrin will be a valuable special teams player for us for 4 years, and that's exactly what Kimbrow would have been for us. We run a pro-style offense with big, physical back that can wear down a defense. Sure it would have been nice to get him, but we already have a return specialist who isn't going to have an attitude/respect problem.. so thanks, but no thanks.

If Devrin Young was in Kimbrow's league talentwise, don't you think their offer lists would have reflected that? If Tennessee didn't offer Young, he'd be playing FCS ball.

Oh, that helps. That REALLY helps.

wgaf. He started this on his own twitter because he couldn't handle what he was reading on message boards because they weren't praising "Mr 4.25". He won't hear the end of this for a while.

That's alot to sell. Franklin can tell them that they won so many games last season , it tied them with the amount of bowl wins they have. Bet that's what he told Kimbrow and he thought it was a good thing. :birgits_giggle:

Sorry, but I have to agree with Negative Nancy. DY and BK are not equivalents from a talent perspective. We didn't get the kid so we can move on, but discounting his talent is just sour grapes.

"@bmk3flash - UT FANS ARE PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Might still have a chance with him?

The sad part is our fanbase will not let it go. They will claim all the way till NSD he will be a Vol. I would question any fan who would want him on the team with what has been said. The homers will say he is just playing the game....it looks like they were the ones played.

You're all a bunch of whiners(well, obviously not you, just everybody else)!

Wow. He may have started it, but how do we look as a fan base trashing a 17 year old who hasn't even stepped foot on a CFB field?

Some here are acting pathetic. JMO. Out of everyone UT has offered, BK has one if the best offer lists in the country. Talent is undisputed.
