Most of the "hate" posts came out after his showing at camp from my understanding, and most of those posts were untrue or exagerrated.

All I know is Clay Travis about pitched a tent on air while talking about BK. 3HL also kept calling him "the 2nd best rb in the nation", although he's actually the number two APB. BIG difference

I'm not saying that they were true or not. I can't remember who posted it originally though. But yeah, they probably were exagerrated. You know how things are over the Internet.

Message boards did the same thing to Harrison Smith. Some fickle fans had some disparaging remarks about his dad after his dad stated he wanted him to go to Notre Dame. Once they saw the comments, he went from 50/50 to 90/10 overnight. You'd like to think that recruiting is merely a coach, athlete, parent, and high school coach realm but we have to realize that boards like this are the easiest representation of the fan base's opinion to find.

Im not going to be the one that says I didnt want Kimbrow...but after watching his film a few more times I really believe he is not as good as advertised. Yes I know you cant coach speed BUT SEC D's are very fast and I really dont see much more to his game. I dont see the wow factor like I see with Marlon Lane and "dang this hurts to type" Crowell. Ill be glad to have him if he changes his mind..but to me he seems like a specialty guy with speed only. Im not impressed with his vision, running style and cutting ability. I do however think that he would make a really good corner. No Im not a coach and maybe Im blind in what I see but the more I watched him as an RB the less impressed I am.
