He wasn't the only one reporting that. I heard it too, and it came directly from BK (via someone paid to cover recruiting).

So why would he come back and say it wasn't true? That way he wouldn't be showing his hand too soon? I hate the idea of us being on the outside with a guy this talented in-state.

Kimbrow stated later it wasn't true, and it indeed was just a rumor. This story also came via someone paid to cover recruiting.

I know what Kimbrow said in that article. I'm just saying the guy who told me that never wrote an article about Kimbrow, but he did interview him and Kimbrow told him he hated Tennessee. Hopefully he has gotten over it since then.

Did he give a reason why he "hated" Tennessee? It was known pretty early that Kimbrow and particularly his parents liked UT and were actually UT fans. Hate is a pretty strong word to use after you confess your liking for someone, in this case, UT.

For him to hate Tennessee so bad it's weird that he continues to visit campus, he will be here this weekend & plans to be here for the O&W game.

He said they "double crossed" his friend. I asked the guy what friend Kimbrow was talking about and he said he didn't know.

I'm not trying to start anything, I was just passing along info. It looks like clearly Kimbrow no longer feels that way which is great news.

No, it's all good. Thanks for the info. It's actualy pretty interesting if true. Hopefully UT has sorted it all out...we need him.

True but this guy is a friend of mine and he didn't use the info for an article because Kimbrow said Auburn wasn't really recruiting him and he wouldn't have put the Tennessee part in because it would have been unprofessional.

Ran a 10.4 100m at his recent track meet, bench is at 250 3x, & squat is 365. Says he is at 165lbs right now.

He didnt say, him & Redmond are on the 400m relay together & Kimbrow said they havent been beat yet.
