Before I say this, I honestly don't think he'll end up at Vandy. But if you look at what Vandy has to offer...playing in the SEC, type of offense, great education, and he would most likely be the most loved football player at Vandy the day he stepped on campus. Vandy will never be a top program but at best, they can have the same type of program as UK. If they landed somebody like Kimbrow, it would be huge for what they're trying to establish there.

Considering Vandy's been a hair away from beating us two of the last three years due to their terrible offense, I'd be very scared if they got Kimbrow. Vandy hasn't had a big play threat since the last time they beat us. And there was tons more talent on our roster. Plus if he goes there, that's a huge message he's sending.
Quit the BS, this would be a massive blow to our class this year. And I haven't been keeping up, but 1 legit commit so far this year is a disappointment.

Chaney is the OC. Dooley is HC. Dooley says he wants to run the ball. Running the ball is an absolute necessity for UT to get back to the championship level.Chaney will continue to resort to the pass and would most likely be a change of pace guy/quick hitter.
I can see him going to Vandy, and wouldn't really blame him, if he thought that was best for him.
Why? Last year this time they had Harris and Posey. The next ones came in mid-June around the camps iirc. The first 4* commit didn't come until August.
UT's commits came later but when they came they didn't waiver very much. If you are really disappointed right now then you'll probably be disappointed every year at this time. Later public commitments seem to go with the recruiting methods UT is using.

BK's opportunities at UT as a RB are stronger than at Vandy.
I wouldn't "blame him"... it would just be an extremely stupid move.
I can understand it in the first year, from a complete unknown. He now has a resume to show to these kids. He has an M.O. I'm not looking for the class to be half full with 5 stars right now, but there's no reason for it to be near June with 1 commit that actually make it to campus next year. I don't care about stars, just give me something. Anything.
pt, this staff is incredible at recruiting.
We are not Texas where we lock up the 4 and 5 stars a year before NSD. We will close well.
