'12 SC WR Quinshad Davis

I thought that he had cancelled the Wake Forrest visit and is visiting South carolina this weekend instead ??

quinshad has damn near a 4.0 if not higher.

Grade issues is the last thing he would have. Sorry y'all you're waayyyyy offf base with that thought.

Hence the jk..............I was joking because this weekend I was saying the same thing you were but someone kept saying it was heresay ect.......doesn't matter............if you don't know then don't make it sound like it's true............original post said I heard but it appeared to be implying he did.......so I agree with you he has no worries on grades

"He supposedly tentatively had scheduled Tennessee the next [weekend] and then North Carolina, but he told me yesterday he was going to call Tennessee and see if he could change those; just rotate the weekends. If you can't then he'll stay with that, but if he can he'll try to go to North Carolina and then the following to Tennessee."

If he doesn't commit this weekend and makes it in next weekend that helps, but yes, I think he'll be a very hard pull if South Carolina wants him.

I don't think he ends up in Knoxville, either.

#1 USCjr
#2 Ole Miss (some would be shocked but not me)
#3 Tennessee

Outside shot: Wake Forest

I like that Quinshad is saving "the best for last" I like us getting the last visit if true. I really like this guy's hand and the way he plays the game

GBO

right!

I also had the conversation with his mom that Wake is basketball school. It is a good school, but its not for a WR like him if that is his main focus.

I tried to get her to change her mind and come to UT this weekend while all of our boys are there, but she wasn't good with changing her reservation with Wake, but when they get up there and that cold air hit them this weekend and the snow.. lol that might throw them off a lil bit. lol HOPEFULLY,
and next weekend when they go to UT and the weather is nice and they see Neyland for the first time... they'll fall in love.... and the addiction to UT will set in and take over. :eek:lol:

So what's your travel plans next weekend MZTERRY lol?

Scout.com: Letter: What's up with Quinshad Davis?

In this article he states didtance is a factor because he wants his family to be able to travel to see him play. A 3 hour trip to Knoxville would not that bad.

Gaffney to Clemson = 81 miles
Gaffney to Columbia = 118 miles
Gaffney to Winston Salem = 132 miles
Gaffney to Knoxville = 192 Miles
Gaffney to Oxford = 523 miles
Gaffney to South Bend = 682 miles
Gaffney to Jacksonville IL = 771 miles

His coach actually said in the latest rivals article that Ole Miss was out due to distance.

little update:

Davis enjoys Wake Forest

By Eric Guimaraes

WR Quinshad Davis of Gaffney took his official visit to Wake Forest over the weekend but remains silent. "He told me he had a good time," his coach Dan Jones said. "I haven't talked to him yet because I was out of town. I just texted him and he said it went well." Davis will visit North Carolina next and then Tennessee after that. "I don't really know what school he is favoring," admitted Jones. "He doesn't really talk about it much. I don't ask him either because I don't want to press him. He has a lot of good schools to choose from and he'll pick one on signing day." Jones is unsure if Davis will take an official visit to USC. "They have been one of his favorite schools and he has already visited them like four times," Jones said. "They definitely have a chance with him." Jones also nixed the possibility that the offer from USC is a greyshirt offer. "That would end it right there," he said. "With the offers he has, I don't think he would entertain a greyshirt option. From what I am told, they offered him a scholarship."

If he goes to UNC this coming weekend (1/20) and then UT (1/27), he would still have more visits left but it would not come before signing day unless he took a midweek visit before signing day.
