UGA's RB depth chart is not exactly stacked, especially considering that Ealey and King have been trying to torpedo their playing careers since day one. At most they would overlap a year with Marshall anyway. Other than that it is really just Crowell and Malcome.
The only attitude I care about coming out of Athens is that the coaches are finally sick of recruiting by the rules while everyone else around them gets their man by hook or crook with no consequences. I am actually quite happy that the staff finally got slapped with some secondary recruiting violations. This is the SEC. Stay clean and become Vandy. I think it took going up against the slime of Kirby Smart and Kiffin for them to finally realize it.
And no I am not naive. I am guessing just as many $100 dollar handshakes are occurring at UGA as any other school, but I really don't care about money given to athletes after they are in school. Yes, it is still cheating, but really there is no competitive advantage at that point. The problem with the NCAA is they simply can't see the forest for the trees and keep worrying about the post-matriculation crap rather than rooting out the far more serious problem of paying recruits or promising to pay recruits. That is where the biggest competitive advantage comes in to play.
