'12 NC OT D.J. Humphries

they may not need him right away.

it depends on if he's better than xavier nixon, matt patchen, and another name you will be familiar with chaz green.

if the season started today, i think the starting tackles are green and nixon

however, because of the possibilities of injury, i doubt he redshirts

You can always lift a redshirt.

I would have loved to have had Humphries don't get me wrong. Good pickup for the Gators(even though it hurts me to say that). He was a luxury pick at this point for us and we are stacked full on the o line for several more years. We need DT's in the worst way right now and maybe one more linebacker.

However, SANTOS commitment today makes me just as happy, if not more so, than if Humphries would have committed due to the need factor!:dance2: GO VOLS!!!

I find it hilarious that rivals uses size in their evaluation when evaluting Henderson but not DJ. Be consistent.

Every person who has graded recruits thinks DJ is a better prospect than Tiny. That's nothing against Tiny, but for you to say Tiny is better than a 5* OT ranked the #3 prospect in this class, is nothing but a homer view, seriously

I wouldn't say I am a troll just that I have seen skeeter's predictions to be false. Too many times lately on the big recruits have been wrong.

You are a $%#@&*#. All Skeet does is tell us what the coaches themselves are thinking when he can. That is some pretty good information to have. At least to me. If you don't want that info then never read his post again. Freak and the Mod squad are trusting of skeeters credentials which is good enough for me. Leave him alone.

I wouldn't trade Tiny for DJ. Ever. I don't care what he is rated.

Another borderline retarded post...

The fact that you think just cause he is a 5 star and Tiny wasn't tells me that a debate with you should involve pee breaks and a coloring session, possibly nap time as well.

Tiny has the potential to be just as good.

When would DJ got playing time at Tennessee. With Posey and Richardson on the team as freshman it might be hard to get any PT.Those are 2 big kids.

Most people grading recruits are political idiots making evaluations from padless camps and crappy HS films. Sheer size and strength matter at tackle. DJ has work to do there and their failure to acknowledge it is idiotic.

Show me where they have been compared.

Richardson based on skill was a 5 star. It was his grades that were a concern for him.

Even with DJ I would take our OL all day over Floridas.

Now get off our boards trash.

Every bit of this.

Now you're just trying too hard.

So I don't see our coaches giving up on a guy that we were pretty close with, but how hard do you all think we still recruit him. I mean OL isn't a big need, but DJ is pretty good and has some potential.
