'12 NC OT D.J. Humphries

It's amazing how people who have NO insider connections can put on blast some people who might have some connections (i.e skeeter, etc.....) and then blast them when they are wrong.

The reality is if it wasn't for guys like that, you would have never known DJ was in play like he was. Cut the guy some slack.

I thought you was gonna be spending time with your kids and loved ones?

Not concerned that he skipped us on his Southern swing? Guess we'll redouble our efforts to get an OV now. Also, I guess there was that guy from Bama with a high ceiling but injury concerns.

Well, there's definitely some concern there, but I think now that Humphries is out of the way we'll be focusing alot more on Diamond now imo. I could see us getting him in for an OV, and if we do I like our chances.

Here comes the TN hate now. First he was a beast and how will be great for TN football, but now its he is too small now and etc. He will put on weight whenever he hits UFs campus.

Life goes on, you will get other players.
You might consider a redo on 3rd grade reading group. Consider backing down to purple group.

Why is Skeeter a troll? He never claimed DJ was coming to Tenn.

Exactly; I debated this point 20 pages ago. Skeeter never said DJ was a Vol; only that because a coach was optimistic about it, so was he.

Too many of the fans are disappointed because they read too much into what was actually written. Several guys have been doing that for hundreds of pages... they keep INACCURATELY repeating what an insider said just 2 pages earlier.

Insider says we look good for so-and-so, and the coaches are optimistic; 2 pages later when somebody asks about so-and-so, another poster says, "skeeter says he's a Vol.".

No one ever said he wasn't a great get, just that he may need a redshirt year. We were all expecting that no matter where he went. It's not unusual with OL.

The kid's 275 going into his senior season at high school. There's not a S&C program in the SEC that won't put 20 pounds of bulk on him by his first Fall practice... he'll be fine.

You know who thinks Tiny will be better than DJ? No one except you homers.....

He could be every bit as good, not being a homer in saying that. Tiny is no slouch.

Does it make me bad person if I can't wish him well?

I can't...I just can't. As a football player he's dead to me now. Sorry.

He's not 275 and he's not surpassing Green or Silberman at 295 and new to the offense. No way.

Ok, besides being shorter, smaller, having shorter arms and weaker, what skill does DJ hold over Tiny?
Hey, best of luck to DJ. Only really followed to read all these loony posts. This is just about calling out dumbassery when I see it. If you are going to say that, bring something. Anything.

they may not need him right away.

it depends on if he's better than xavier nixon, matt patchen, and another name you will be familiar with chaz green.

if the season started today, i think the starting tackles are green and nixon

however, because of the possibilities of injury, i doubt he redshirts

DJ has quicker feet and it matters, but it's not like Barry Sanders would be a better tackle.

Right there with ya.

Seems like a good kid, wish him well in life outside of football but I hope his college career is mired by an abundance of losses.

Nothing against him, just hate Florida.
