That's not the bet he's talking about. He and I made a ban bet on UT getting a top 15 class this year.

I hope he commits to Tennessee and then signs. First of all because I'm a UT fan.

Secondly, I'm really interested in what the new thing to freak out with recruiting will be among the Nervous Nellies once a bona fide 5 Star signs.

Obviuosly you're not trolling, and I don't think you are making stuff up, but I'm still hesitant with this information. The most glaring reason being it makes no sense that a family member would call the coaches and still be so cryptic and vague about why they were calling. Why would they call and say, "he is reaffirming his position from 2 weeks ago." Why not just say, "he is commiting to UT." Also, what is the point in reaffirming your commitment less than 24 hours before you publicly state your commitment? This only makes sense if the coaches were requesting he do so or risk having scholarship pulled, which obviously wasn't the case.

It's also possible that YOU, not the family member, is being discreet, in which case my post is useless (unlike all my other gems that I've writteni n here)

Yes, but he wasn't five star in all the rankings - particularity rivals, and he was a JUCO - which shouldn't matter particularily after Cam Newton. I'd rather get a five star JUCO than a five star High Schooler anyway.

Humphries is 5 star, number three in the country in Rivals -the most followed list out there. That's why I'm curious what the complaints from the worry warts will be after that.

I say he will choose UT. Hopefully on his visits to Knoxville, that he learned Tennessee is all about "family". Can't wait til 7 pm. (Bart Scott voice):rock:

Funny how when i mention the ban bet the dude never posts again. He is a VOL people.. all of you guys maybe with the exception of SBV are speculating.. I am not.
