Wasn't derogatory either. Wasn't a shot at our staff. The likelihood is that most very high end recruits are going elsewhere, and the odds get worse when theyre out of staters.

I hate Florida because of their fans in jacksonville, Gainesville as a city sucks, and most don't even know who alex brown was or anyone before urban Meyer. It annoys me.

fl is recruiting him as an out of stater too.

Hate to miss on DJ but we'll get a couple of "high end" recruits. I'd rather get em on the d-line or lb anyway.

But I have to repeat...DJ hasnt announced yet.

I guess I am just a fool for wanting to wait until he actually commits but can you imagine, I mean can you even begin to imagine, if by some wild and crazy reason he's been playing the game and chooses UT? DefenseisDesire would literally have to go find a storm shelter to live in or hop on a rocket and head to the planet of the apes to get away from the ruthless hate that would be spilled upon him. Expecting the worst but holding on to this small nuggest of hope. Maybe I can find new dots to connect before announcement time!

DiD, i dont know if you plan to stick around VN for awhile, or if you are just playing around till this announcement, but if you do plan to be a regular poster here, i can tell you that being singularly correct on one prospect is not really a big accomplishment when you consider losing everyone's respect on this board. you never had to take a soap box to argue your prediction. it looks like you were probably right in your guess, but now you have the reputation of being either a troll or a tool. i hope it is worth it to you, and i hope you stick around for awhile, but you need to drop this me against them crap, and start enjoying talking about football with the rest of us.

The key, for both schools, is that he won't be signed until 2012. He'll presumably take officials and those matter.

I am still confident about DJ committing to us tonight, but if he doesn't all that it makes is wrong. But there is something that we seem to forget, and that is the UT program needs a winning season to show these recruits that UT is indeed coming back. Right now I am not surprised if or when we miss out on top prospect. This is how its going to be until we put a 8or 9 win season together and if that happens we are going to see more wins in these kinds of head to head battle with the other top schools. I am pulling a little harder for Santos because that is a position of need. I want DJ just because he is like the TOP of players.

Defense,

Assuming you are indeed a Vol fan, maybe this will help explain why so many people are disenchanted with you.

Assume you are sitting up in Neyland in a big game and the Vols are decided underdogs. Someone who is sitting beside you, claiming to be a Vol fan, says the entire game, "the Vols are going to lose, the Vols are going to lose, the Vols are going to lose...". Sure enough, even though they were clearly the underdog, they give it their best but lose in the waning moments of the game. You, as a devout Vol fan, are upset and disappointed. The purported Vol fan next you then says, "I told you so, you wouldn't listen to me. Redemption is so, so sweet".

Now, if you were a true Vol fan, you'd likely want to tell him to shut the hell up, he isn't a loyal and true fan, and you will probably hope to never see or hear him again.

I think many here feel the same way towards you. Think about it...

Why would someone close to DJ tell Price his decision to broadcast all over twitter the night before the announcement? Seems iffy. I still think it's 50/50 ... No one knows but DJ.
