'12 NC OT D.J. Humphries

I predict a lot of negativity in the recruiting forum tomorrow.

No you learn to move on. There is nothing you can do about so you move on. Disappointing yes. End of the world no. Unfortunately some on here can't move on they live in the past. Its football.

Hubbs just said he wouldn't change plans to watch a kid commit to a school.. Priorities. Good advice hubbs.. I was going to call out of work but that won't be needed now.

Um, where did I ever say that was in reference to SGM? My thought process doesn't revolve around him. I was originally referring to the legion of Gator fans in this thread and on this board.

My bad. I read and interpreted that string of messages wrong.

Hubbs, in his usual round about way, is saying that Humphries is going to UF and there's no need to watch the commitment. You can spin it however you want, but that's what is being conveyed.

Some of you all are really setting yourselves up for disappointment.

Not if you keep things in the right perspective and there is noting wrong with hoping and picking the underdogs. Its easy to go with the flow, I am choosing to be a Salmon!!! lol

Listen I would love to sign this kid but the world does not end if he goes to Florida. We have a solid and young line that will be tough for the next three years. I would like to pose one question to this young man. If he really can see himself making it to the NFL and that is his goal, who is his favorite Gator in the NFL. Had to think a minute, didn't ya. I believe out of the top 100 players in the NFL for 2010, UT was represented well.

How many times does every single source get something wrong?

He hasn't done any interviews or anything lately so what would have changed in those peoples opinions to make them think he was a vol. Never know. I'm guessing Gator but wouldn't be shocked if he picked us.

A week ago i would have said Vol, but now im convinced he's gonna be a gator. Hope im wrong though:confused:

I understand. I'm usually one of the more positive posters in the recruiting forum but sometimes you just gotta be real. Everything here points towards him being a Gator and I just don't see a reason to look for false hope. The letdown won't be nearly as bad if you take this stance. Well, at least for me anyways.
