This guy doesn't seem like the kind of recruit to give the coaches false info..I feel like he would be straight with them.

On the other hand, gators feel good due to quotes from a month ago and their Rivals guys saying they think he will be a Gator because he talks to some of their commits.

The SE representative from Rivals has ALREADY done interviews with him and his father that he will be posting after the announcement... He announced it on the Gators board, not the Vols board. And he claimed Florida in the recruiting forum yesterday

He's claimed the Gators as the leader in every interview.

They are having a live announcement broadcast on the Gators site.

All the Gator mods and recruiting insiders have been invited to the announcement.

His mother has NEVER visited Tennessee, she has visited Florida

His trainer is a former Gator player

Yep. Everyone has said that he is a straight-shooter and that he will likely stick with the school that he announces tomorrow.

We shall see what happens...

I actually agree with you there. His personality (best I can tell) and the fact that it is only August give me more confidence that they aren't being played. But, he could have a hard time telling them bad news if he really likes them.

Agreed. I'm having fun with this, though. The insiders are coming out of the woodwork.

There is, however, reason for legitimate optimism:

Most of the alleged "sources" saying that DJ is a Gator are media, recruits, and some others not related to the Gator football team or athletics department.

The alleged "sources" saying DJ is a Vol seem to have connections to the UT athletics department or football team.

Interesting contrast.
