This is the post on the Rivals main board from the Gator poster that has been referred to today in this thread:

Mod basically said they had planned to travel to cover the announcement, then this morning were informed by someone in the recruiting office that it would be a waste.
Put 1 and 1 together, all week mod was going to the announcement, now he said he isnt, and heard negative news.
we will see tomorrow I guess
