Well, since that idiot Dave Hooker said on the ESPN recruiting site that Humphries is a Florida lean, that means he is a VOL.

I hope that its a LB and thats all there is as far as news in gainesville goes, Skeeter I know this is the wrong thread for this, but is there anything behind the hamilton kid being showed as having the most interest in us right now on scout.

this has been thrown out there on the gator boards for a couple of days.

i was messin' with ya, because it appeared you were messing with the entire board.

first, by saying that the gators are going to get a recruit on friday......then saying.....and it ain't humphries

i wouldnt mess with a gator:p ut tried getting in on the kid but was late, from the sounds of things it would not have mattered anyway. the kid loves uf.

BB going the modest route. All I ask is you guys stay classy on us on FRI. I'm honestly shocked we had the run on Humphries we did with the OL we currently have already. Especially knowing his trainer is a gator.

I've felt this way as well. I was hoping that getting a recruit of Hump's caliber would get some extra momentum for this class as much as anything.

i saw your response. it was well thought out and had some length to it and i did not choose to take the time to type out a proper response.

in short, i will say i don't share your optimistic appraisal of the situation.

i expect tennessee to hit on some and miss on some.

if i were to say tennessee will finish with 5 more 4* players and 5 more 3* players, that would be a pretty good finish.

i don't think that would end up being the kind of class tennessee needs to turn things around.

in addition, jacobs, autry and patterson are juco guys. while it's great to get quality players whenever you can, i don't think it's an overall good to have the top talent in the class be from the juco ranks.

Wishful thinking theory:

Dooley ordered radio silence regarding dj to ut. Coaches can't talk about it and dj was asked to keep quiet. Keep the gators at bay and mo off his jock. Then announce for ut on Friday and have his moment.

It's possible.....
