Wouldn't he be reaching out to UT commits?

Just seems a bit far-fetched to me to think it's some elaborate plan of smoke and mirrors.

But then again, I argued with a girl in 5th grade that wrestling was real, so what do i know.

Fact of the matter is we haven't heard one tangible piece of good news since Skeeter posted. The Gators have been hearing a few things...It really looks like he's changed his mind.

I doubt he is reaching out to UF commits with that reasoning in mind. I'm sure he knows them personally or they are contacting him. I highly doubt he is thinking "i need to tell someone I might be playing with them so I can sleep tonight" Its probably a text "hey brah where u goin 2 cllge brah" and he says "I dnt no, prlly UF or UT" and they say "u leanin 2 UF rite? LOLOLOLOLOL c u n gville" and he goes "haha ya.."

...Where am i?

I'm now fairly sold that DJ is going to be a gator. I wanted him on the hill as much as anyone, and I believe we briefly had him, but Collins and the UF staff went to work and locked him back up, IMO. I hate it - it's not an every year event to be that close to landing a top 5 recruit, but I hope the staff can begin to make it more common. I'll save the "good work" comments for UF until Friday, but its probably over. Maybe we can work our way back in before December.

DJ seems to have handled his recruitment very professionally, I wish him luck whichever way he goes (except against UT of course, where I hope our ends steamroll him).

How do you know he has talked to them...do you talk to them directly or is it something you read from another poster on a message board?

Have these conversations between them and DJ happened recently?

What about the stuff coming from the NC recruiting analysts? Can you provide a link to these statements?

If you could substantiate these things a little more then it would be easier for some people here to believe

I stil don't see any tangible evidence to change my opinion...maybe I am being stubborn.

Hopefully Skeeter can get some sort of vibe from the coaches before Friday.

If the coaches didnt suddenly keep it close to the vest im sure we would have info that would counter all this nonsense from the UF camp. But they got secretive and it is what it is... we will have to wait til 7pm EST on friday. So will UF

I just read on another board that DJ was seen laying in a hammock with a UT shirt and hat on..sipping on some orange koolaid and humming Rocky Top. While this is only 16th hand info....it is as real as anything a gator message board has reported.

It's now back to 50/50!!:popcorn:
