I don't think logic points to UT. If anything - the 'revelations' of the passed couple of weeks concerning Humphries have been rumor at best. He has said all along that UF leads - so I am thinking gator until he puts on a different hat.

I'm not being anti-vol - just logical and objective.

Sucks but he's going to UF. Hope we can switch him by beating the sh!t out of Florida in September.

Read OCI's post yesterday, read that Skeeter has said 0, read that a Gator Mod who is likely his handler is saying Gator. Read that no new good info for UT has come out since the weekend and all good info is UF and you do your own math. I hope I am wrong.

We have to take into account that the kid may want there to be a little suspense to his announcement. How do you do that after everyone pretty much agrees you are going to UT? You let things float out there about UF and/or shutdown any and all communication and allow people to stir up things for a couple of weeks and no one really knows. I'm sure if he told UT's coaching staff he is committed but wanted to keep things secret until the 5th so that he can have his day in the sun then I think it would be easy for Dooley and company to keep that secret. One of the coaching staffs knows where he is going. One hopes that he comes. We have gator mods from a recruiting site thinking UF lean. We have an insider in with the UT coaches that feels UT lean. I think Vol until proved otherwise on the 5th.

He didn't base his post on rumor. He based it on 5 trips to ut, and 1 to uf since muschamp took over. He based it on the fact that hump didn't go to fnl. Is that strong evidence? No, but it is better than the evidence pointing toward florida. Which atm is all based on rumor.

Not really. If it was a 5* LB or DT then yes there would be a meltdown, but we really like our OL right now. Not saying there would be some disappointment though.

It's still all based on the fact that skeeter said CHH like where we were at. The 5 visits meant nothing when Humphries was saying UF lead since the beginning. He hasn't said otherwise, btw. If I'm wrong then I will be glad - I'm just think he's UF bound.

And that he cancelled FNL like he told CHH he would do, even turning down a ride from homeboy... I agree though, I think he's since switched back to UF. Trainer too much to overcome.

I wish I could read these rumors started by the NC recruiting guy or whatever HG keeps posting about. Is it an article? Is it a post on a message board? Did he talk to DJ or is it a "source?"

I just think he's been a gator since the beginning - had second thoughts - then reaffirmed his position.

Exactly! A commitment from a 17 year old in August and a actual signing on NSD are too totally different things.

I'm sure that DJ will be watching both teams closely during this season. September 17 could be big in his decision!
