'12 NC OT D.J. Humphries

Obviously, the fact that he cancelled his trip to FNL (24 hours after Skeeter said he would) and rebuked an offer from Mo Collins to take him there is nothing but good news for Florida. How could they possibly feel more confident after such a series of events? Also, continuing to talk to CHH after he was supposed to go silent means he is surely a Gator. Oh, and let's not forget the visit on 8/6 to come and give hugs of consolation to UT's staff after choosing UF. If it isn't obvious that he's a Gator, you must be blind.

Friday is going to be EPIC! lol

Not sure where this is from. I found it on GatorCountry.

After visiting various schools, Humphries is down to five: Auburn, Clemson, Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee. The five-star prospect has only one tentative visit left before his decision: a trip to Gainesville just before his announcement.

HG what is your honest feelings about this one, I personally think it's 50/50 either way and however it turns out like has been said time and again it will not be over, until the ink's dry next Feb

I hope he chooses to be a VOL but really don't see how either fan base can be uber confident at this point as to where he is going.

Two weeks ago it was UT imo but after the NC insider posted on the topic a few times since FNL, I'll say it could go either way...imo UT 55-UF 45% atp.

dude isn't visiting anywhere before his announcement. I say Gator. Regardless, the staff did an awesome job recruiting him. If he choses UF over us, he was always destined there.

FWIW Florida commit Mike Davis said he think Humpries is leaning towards committing to Florida, but dont practically all people related to Florida football think this way? This one is tough to call, but I think Humphries is a Vol and will be until the end. Our staff seems confident in him choosing Tennessee, so I will be the same.

Again, link?

If you have ITG then you can find the poster's info there...I'm not a "link" person. He only posts about NC recruits and is rumored to be Mo Collins. Dropped the info last year on Pagan and gave good tidbits on Anthony also. Atp I'm just going to enjoy the ride and wait until friday.

So has Jeese Dunker and Matt Jones.

Yup, just like the rest of us poor recruiting junkies.

Hate to be a downer, but, as of today, staff not optimistic about Humphries. Something changed over the weekend.

You're the same one who said Jelks' offer wasn't committable. After that im quite skeptical of your sources. Plus Skeeter just said this morning that he has heard nothing new from the staff regarding Humphries.

He is not going to Gainsville or Knoxville on Thursday he has a scrimmage. And practice on Friday. So being at either place would be tough this week. Saturday he has a scrimmage as well in Gaston County.
