DJ's parents aren't pushing him anywhere they want him to be happy though would prefer Knoxville. Dad just wants SEC. Smart man.

Well if the parents don't want to push him one way or the other, then Mo shouldn't either. Sounds like he's only looking out for his own interests by being so pushy about Florida.

Agree with that on Mo for sure.

I think you answered your on question UTgradnNC. More people on VQ are claiming DJ to Vols so who knows.

Supposedly his scrimmage in Gaston County on Saturday will not affect this 'scheduled' trip to Knoxville. If this is indeed true then it has to be good news. This info is not from me but someone on TOS.

I'm posting what others are saying about it. I've posted also what I've been told by someone very close to the situation. Just sharing what I've heard. I want DJ to be a Vol and hope he is. But I'm not going to come on here and make stuff up and lie as to what I've been told. Right now looks like it could be either way.

i just don't understand why he would take a visit to UT right after he commits to Florida. I will trust in skeeter untill he gives us an update.

I know I just posted a couple posts ago, but I want to reinterate my feelings on DJ for my 7,000th post.

Everyone needs to not get too emotional one way or the other this week as the rumors will continue to fly every which way as to what DJ will do. Just know that as of now and the past week or so our coaches have felt like they are going to land DJ, and that is about as good of info as we can hope for.

We have distance, parents, 5X the amount of visits, reputable coaching pedigree at his position and a need at Tackle to support our sell to DJ.

Add all those together and the coaches confidence and there is not a reason to worry.

DJ Humphries will be a Vol on August the 5th, and I will use my 7,000th post to reinterate that belief.

Go Vols and Humphries!!!

I've read/heard both on the trip. The guy I was referring to said he texted someone and they said the Jamboree on saturday would not interfere with the trip to Knoxville. So if he's telling the truth then I guess it could be happening. My source told me two weeks ago that DJ had really shut down and was not talking about recruiting at all. So information is just a guessing game right now the way it looks.
